Dating is full of misread signs, misguided affection and often times signs that go completely ignored because after all, how could she not be interested? Women often get labeled as the sex that "plays hard to get," however, more often than not, she's telling her date exactly what she thinks of him from the very beginning, only he's not listening.
She Shows No Affection After the Date
Not every woman will kiss her date goodnight, especially if she has been only taken out once. However, if she is interested and genuinely had a good time, she will most likely hug her beau goodnight. If she leaves with a wave or worse yet, says nothing at all, that is her way of telling her date that she is just not that into him.
She Won't Call or Pick Up the Phone
Women today will sometimes take the first leap and give the guy a call following a great night out and that sends a clear message. On the other hand, there are women who still hold true to past convention and will wait for a phone call. Either way, as long as communication is being reciprocated, it's a green light to move ahead and to continue in the pursuit. However, if calls are going straight to voice mail and going un-returned, she is sending a clear message that she has no interest in seeing her date again.
The Kiss Off
"You're nice, but..." These three words are the kiss off. To be blunt, what she is saying is that she's not attracted to the guy involved. She may have had a good time and there may have been some chemistry between the two, but she views it as what could be a friendship...if that. Sometimes women do not like rejecting men since they feel guilty about hurt feelings and use this term as a way to let him down gently.
She Flat Out Says, She's Not Interested
Then, women get a little bit older and realize they don't need to use the "you're nice, but" line because in the end, it's better to cut things off quickly to avoid future hurt feelings. Men, on the other hand, seem to take this as a challenge – that they somehow will be able to change the woman's mind. This is not the case. A woman knows, usually within the first hour of meeting someone, if he is interesting enough for her to invest further time in. There is nothing that is more of a turn-off to a lady than an overzealous man who will not take a hint or in this case, the complete truth.
All in all, dating is hard, probably harder than being in a long-term relationship. However, by sticking to these four basic rules, guys will be able to weed out the girls who are just not that into them.
